The algorhythmz

are a shameless A.I. band
Created by generative artist
Ronnie Paul Boyer.
This project fuses
nostalgia, circuitry, and attitude
into grooves that go hard af
pulling threads from
soul, funk, hip hop,
punk rock, synths, pop,
noise, and static.

Under the hood, it’s all algorithms and code. But what comes out of the speakers is pure spiritual napalm: songs built to melt programming, question authority, and hit you right in the gut. This is algorithmic defiance with a groove. Hook-heavy, lyric-driven, and unapologetically rebellious. Welcome to the machine. We’re The AlgoRhythmz.

You can find us most places you usually live with your headphones on. We’re available across the usual outlets.

Our debut album, “You Can’t Cage the Soul,” is the opening blast. A full-length soul detonation aimed at everything that tries to shrink you down. It’s part protest record, part spiritual wake-up call: lush harmonies, vintage vibes, and lyrics that take swings at conformity, conditioning, and quiet desperation. These tracks are built like sermons for the disillusioned, but with enough groove to keep your head bouncing the whole way through. If you’ve ever felt like your spirit doesn’t fit inside the boxes the world keeps handing you, this album was made for you.

Our follow-up album, “Funk the System,” takes that same fire and cranks the tempo. Heavy basslines, dirty horns, and flute lines threading through the mix like secret sauce, all wired into songs about control, propaganda, and reclaiming your mind. It’s protest music you can move to, a funky middle finger to manufactured consent and spiritual numbness. If “You Can’t Cage the Soul” lit the match, “Funk the System” is where we funk in the flames.

The evolution continues with "Electro Funk Therapy," where the sound opens up and the tension melts into movement. This album dives headfirst into electro-funk, 80s pop sheen, hip-hop grit, and synthwave pulse, built for late-night drives, rewired brains, and worn-out souls trying to remember how to feel again. It’s music as recalibration, basslines that knock loose the static, hooks that stick like old memories, and rhythms tuned to shake you out of autopilot. Just voltage and groove, glowing like a midnight radio signal you weren’t supposed to find.

Cyberpunk Rock is a hard reboot after Electro Funk Therapy. A full-throttle punk rock album, built on fast tempos, distorted guitars, and a raw punk energy straight outta the 80s and 90s. The album moves with urgency and teeth, channeling rebellion through societal decay and concrete-level rage. This is music for misfits who never bought into the script. For anyone who still believes distortion can cut through to truth. Just speed, noise, and defiance, pushed straight through the machine.

Ronnie Paul Boyer is a Canadian generative artist, musician, and graphic designer walking the thin line between technology, spirit, and rebellion. He builds music, visuals, and ideas from code and consciousness, driven by a belief that creativity should be free flowing, not filtered through institutions, gatekeepers, or dogma. He carries a core belief in individual liberty, a habit of defying authority, and the conviction that art should challenge systems rather than serve them.
